We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.
Thoughts about time — at this moment
We are told time is an illusion. I think most of what I see and think is an illusion at times. One thing I am pretty certain about is this: Now is the only chance we have at changing what we want to change.
Now is the present, as in gift of life.
Now we are able to do anything ,,, anything our attitude will allow us to do.
So, if you aren’t having a good time right now, try with all your might to change your attitude. Pay close attention to your surroundings, to what you are now doing, and witness new things emerging, new things that have taken you away from the sad times you were just having!
Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.
Clocks are here for us to sync up with another person or persons, or to give ourselves a limited amount of daylight, or night, to accomplish a task. We don’t have to put time restraints on ourselves every day.
On a day off, we can eat when we want to eat, or sleep when we want to sleep or play as long as it feels good. In other words clocks are handy but they are not our master.
Have you ever thought how nature gets along in life without a clock?
Only humans need a clock, even when it makes us anxious or ties us to repetitive activities like eating, sleeping, showering at identical times. It is recommended we keep timely meals and sleep patterns for our mental health.
But once in a while, we might try listening to our inner clock…. especially when we are relieved of usual duties. We may find we humans can relax anywhere and feel groovy!
Slow down and enjoy the clock as an art form, as a friendly tool. Enjoy the present moment as often as you can.
